Privacy Policy — AutoPilot Link Generator

This Privacy Policy describes how the AutoPilot Link Generator Chrome extension ("the Extension", "we", "our") handles information when you use it.

1. Data We Collect

1.1. The Extension collects verification tokens from supported platforms (Bybit, MEXC) for the sole purpose of generating secure verification links.

1.2. The Extension stores your theme preferences (light/dark mode) locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local.

1.3. The Extension does not collect names, email addresses, passwords, payment data, browsing history, keystrokes, location, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Data

2.1. Verification tokens are transmitted to our backend server exclusively to generate a secure, unique subdomain (channel) used to complete KYC verification.

2.2. Theme preferences are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

2.3. We do not use collected data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to generating verification links.

3. Data Sharing

3.1. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with third parties.

3.2. Verification tokens are used solely for generating secure verification links and are not disclosed to any party outside the verification flow described above.

4. Data Retention

4.1. Verification tokens are short-lived and are processed only for the duration required to generate a verification link. They are not retained persistently on our servers after the link is generated.

4.2. Theme preferences remain in your browser's local storage until you uninstall the Extension or clear its storage from your browser settings.

5. Data Security

5.1. All communication between the Extension and our backend is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS).

5.2. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the Extension against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension interacts with the following external services:

Bybit and MEXC APIs — to retrieve verification status for the user's account on those platforms.
AutoPilot backend API — to generate secure verification links from verification tokens.

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

7. User Rights

7.1. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clearing its storage in your browser settings.

7.2. For any request regarding data handled by our backend, contact us using the details in Section 10.

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
